Specter's Harp prologue part 2

"What is this place, Heaven?" I took another glance at Mr. Smiles aura, realizing my foolish guess was far from being accurate," This can't be hell, can it? NO, I couldn't have done anything to deserve this!" I cried out with a massive burst of rage and anger, as well as fear and sorrows. "DAMN MY MEMORIES! WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER MY PAST LIFE!" the foul spirit just stood there as my motionless cold body floated toward his vile presence. If my heart was still beating it would be pounding in my chest, like the sound of a herd of tauros trampling across an open plain. The thought of being in hell caused a surge of fear to hit me. Such a burst of emotion would have possibly killed me with a heart attack, if I wasn't already dead. I know that nothing positive could possibly come from that foul ghostly beast, yet for some reason I felt something didn't seem right. He snickered under his cold demonic breath, "I've been watching you for a while now Kara, waiting for those last grains of sands to finally drop to the bottom of your hour glass of life." Suddenly I felt a sharp pain growing in my chest. It soon became unbearable; I've never felt a pain so agonizing and breathtaking without any physical harm being done to my body. I couldn't see how this was happening, but I knew for sure of what the ghastly phantasm was doing. The evil specter had his claws jammed into my chest, taking my soul from the anchor that was my body and there was nothing I could do about it, no matter how much I wanted to fight it, I was his to take. "And now since I've finally acquired your soul from that bag of flesh, you are now eligible to take part in my little games." The ghoul of evil laughed hysterically in his words. The feeling of my soul being ripped from my lifeless body sapped all the energy from my will and mind. Immediately I began to lose my senses, and then shortly after my conscious started to fade away.
